Minimalist Piano

Support and contact

A piano for the iPhone, and nothing else. No ads, no pop-ups, nothing to buy inside it, and it plays alongside whatever else you are listening to.

Using it

Two views
The brass button in the top corner switches between them. Wide gives you all 88 keys with a slider down the side; Vertical gives you two octaves on two rows. Whichever you leave it in is the one it opens on next time.
Moving along the piano
In Wide, drag the brass slider. In Vertical, use the arrows either side of the range, which move an octave at a time.
Changing the key size
Pinch the slider in the Wide view, between eight and twenty-four keys on screen. Pinching the keys themselves would be read as two notes, which is why the gesture lives on the slider.
Playing over your own music
Nothing to switch on. The piano layers on top of whatever is already playing and will not interrupt it.
No sound
Check the ring/silent switch and the volume. The app plays through the media volume, so turning it up while a note sounds is the quickest test.
